Ramón Unzueta / A Catalogue by Gustavo Valdés

ARS Atelier-Paris announces its next exhibition, this time featuring recent works by Ramón Unzueta, a Cuban artist who resides in Tenerife, Spain. For the purpose of documenting his passing by the Parisian gallery, ARS and its curator Gustavo Valdés have designed another of those stupendous catalogues that are becoming the “trademark” of ARS ATELIER. The catalogue contains reproductions of all the works exhibited which are accompanied by texts written by Zoé Valdés, Gustavo Valdés and Enaida Unzueta, the artist’s dealer in the USA. The catalogue is the result of the collaboration between the artist and the graphic designer, in this case, Unzueta and Valdés respectively. And once again, it is proof that with knowledge (above all things), good taste and careful attention to detail, magnificence can be achieved in the design of publications.

ARS Atelier-Paris anuncia su próxima exposición, esta vez con obra reciente del artista cubano afincado en Tenerife, Ramón Unzueta. Y para documentar su paso por la galería parisina, ARS y su curador Gustavo Valdés han diseñado otro de esos estupendos catálogos que vienen convirtiéndose en “trademark” de ARS ATELIER. El catálogo presenta todos los cuadros que se exhiben, acompañados por textos de Zoé Valdés, Gustavo Valdés y Enaida Unzueta, galerista del artista en EE.UU. El catálogo es producto de la colaboración del artista con el diseñador gráfico, en este caso Unzueta y Valdés respectivamente, y una vez más da prueba de que con conocimiento (sobre todo), buen gusto y esmero se pueden lograr magnificas cosas en el diseño de publicaciones.
