Pottery
 with Lisa Knaus, Beth Bolgla, and Ada Pilar Cruz starts January 5
Classes run on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, in the morning, afternoon, and evening
Sculpture with James Murray starts January 11, 11am-3pm
Learn how to use tools and create art from a master woodworker.
NEW! Storytelling with Photographs with Nancy LeVine starts January 12, 11am-2pm
Experience a combination of a group class and one-on-one sessions with this new format for a photography class. 
Yoga For All Artists with Dani Locastro starts January 14, 12pm-1:15pm
Join us for this fundamental yoga class that links the creative connections between art and yoga.
Children's Pottery with Renee Curci Ivanoff starts January 14 or 17, 4pm-5:30pm
Your child join us after school to pinch, slab, coil, and throw clay.
Making Monotypes with Elana Goren starts January 16, 6pm-8:30pm
Come explore the painterly printmaking techniques that result in exciting and unique ways to create one-of-a-kind impressions.
Watercolor and Beyond with Linda Barboni starts January 17, 10:30am-1:30pm 
Open to new and experienced painters alike. Come see why folks love this class! 
NEW! Responsive Drawing and Collage Making  with Andrea Moreau starts January 18, 10:30am-1pm
Students will create collages that combine drawn and found elements in this new class.
Family Clay Studio with Renee Curci Ivanoff starts January 18, 10am-11:30am or 12pm-1:30pm
Children and the adults in their lives work side by side in this multi-generational class.
NEW! Beginning Fiddle/Mandolin with Harry Bolick starts January 22, 7:30pm-9pm
Learn a new tune each week! Class will be adjusted to meet the abilities and needs of each student.
Drop In Drawing + Painting From Life (monitor only, no teacher) ongoing Mondays, 9:30am-12:30pm
Ongoing sessions for those that want to draw and paint from a live model. Short poses.

Picasso Meets Mr. Potato Head for Kindergartners-3rd graders with Barbara Herzfeld on December 6, 1pm-2:30pm 
Students can join us when school isn't in session for this fun art history and drawing workshop at the Art Center.

Garrison Art Center


The leaves are changing, sweaters are being donned, and the next round of classes is starting at Garrison Art Center. We still have space in some of our most popular classes, so it's a great time to find your class or workshop and sign up now. 
 
FALL CLASSES 
 
Sculpture with James Murray starts on October 19, Saturdays at 11:30am
Take the opportunity to learn sculpture from an artist and master woodworker in his studio. Only 2 spots left!
 
Drop In Drawing and Painting from Life with a monitor, (no instruction) ongoing, Mondays at 9:30am
Ongoing sessions for those who want to draw and paint from a live model.
 
Nature/Garden Journaling with Susan Sapanara starts on October 23, Wednesdays at 10:30am
Learn the ins and outs of keeping a nature journal, complete with travel drawing and watercolor set. 
 
Watercolor and Beyond with Linda Barboni starts on October 25, Fridays at 10:30am
Learn traditional techniques as well as how to experiment with watercolors. Only 2 spots left!
 
Intaglio with Andrea Connor starts October 26, Saturdays at 10:30am
Explore this 500 year old process for making images using a copper plate and a printing press. 
 
Coptic Binding Workshop with Christina Di Marco on Wednesday, October 30, 9am-12pm
Bind a book using an ancient sewing method used by Coptic Egyptians.
 
Family Clay Studio with Renee Curci Ivanoff starts November 2, Saturdays at 10am or 12pm
You and a special kid in your life can partake in this pottery class and work either collaboratively or side-by-side. Open to families of all sizes. 
 
Children's Pottery with Renee Curci Ivanoff starts November 5 or November 15, Tuesdays or Fridays at 4pm
Kids ages 6-12 learn how to work with clay in a variety of methods, including hand building, wheel throwing, and glazing.
