For two years Ernesto Briel and I became "The Marielitos across from Macy's". Coming from communist Cuba in 1980 with practically no-money, landing on such a neighborhood was a real Miracle at 34th st. Logically we had a great time discovering and biting The Big Apple. Finding the right spot for a good close-up while including the total silhouette of our giant next door was a real Kodak Moment.
