This November S|2 London presents two solo exhibitions. In Gallery 1 there will be an exhibition of large scale paintings, as well as studies and drawings, from the sixties by British Painter, Tess Jaray. For over five decades, Jaray has explored the geometry of space within our natural world.
Born in 1943, Cuban artist Ernesto Briel found inspiration in Optical Art amidst the constraints and limitations of his native country in the two decades following the triumph of the Cuban revolution. Gallery 2 will show his works from the sixties and seventies.
