Garrison Art Center / 3 Exciting Shows

http://www.garrisonartcenter.org/
We are happy to announce pop-up exhibitions by three artists with connections to Philipstown and to the Art Center opening April 23.
Kate Rogovin, Jaynie Crimmins and Brian Nice.
Multi-dimensional artist Kate Rogovin, a long resident of Cold Spring now living in Inwood, served as a board member of Garrison Art Center and was one of the first to open a gallery--Concentric--on Main Street in Beacon after Dia: Beacon opened where she showed her work for many years.
Jaynie Crimmins, another long time resident of Cold Spring and art teacher, served as president of Garrison Art Center and is now a full-time practicing artist with a studio in Brooklyn.
Garrison resident Brian Nice, a highly successful commercial photographer, began his work solely as a fine art photographer after a traumatic brain injury. His first fine art show "Point of View" was launched at Garrison Art Center and was hugely successful. An award-winning documentary of his cross-country trip will be screened at Philipstown Depot Theatre on Friday, April 29, 7:30 with receptions at the Art Center before and after.

Luis Agüero / La vida en dos / Amazon

http://www.amazon.com/vida-dos-Novela-Spanish/dp/1518813992/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1460736260&sr=1-1&keywords=luis+aguero
