This November S|2 London presents two solo exhibitions. In Gallery 1 there will be an exhibition of large scale paintings, as well as studies and drawings, from the sixties by British Painter, Tess Jaray. For over five decades, Jaray has explored the geometry of space within our natural world.
Born in 1943, Cuban artist Ernesto Briel found inspiration in Optical Art amidst the constraints and limitations of his native country in the two decades following the triumph of the Cuban revolution. Gallery 2 will show his works from the sixties and seventies.

El pasado miércoles 11 de mayo se inauguró una exposición con una retrospectiva de la obra del pintor cubano Waldo Balart (Banes, 1931), en la reconocida galería madrileña Guillermo de Osma: c/ Claudio Coello 4,  que reúne 29 cuadros pintados durante la década de 1979-1980 y que se podrá visitar hasta el 22 de julio de 2016.

Con una asistencia masiva, que abarrotó las dos salas donde se exponen sus obras, Balart departió con amigos y asistentes durante las dos horas que duró el evento.  Puede decirse, sin lugar a dudas, que fue una inauguración exitosa no solo por la asistencia de público, sino por la cordialidad reinante, donde el pintor se sintió arropado por familiares, amigos y amantes de la pintura.
